3. Our Services
Ocean Voyage acts as a travel agent arranging cruise holidays and related travel services. We are not the cruise operator or carrier. When you book through us:
- Your contract for the cruise itself is with the relevant cruise line or supplier
- Ocean Voyage acts as intermediary between you and the supplier
- The cruise line's own booking conditions will also apply to your holiday
4. Enquiries and Bookings
Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have issued a written confirmation and received any required deposit or full payment. All prices and availability are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) unless otherwise stated and include all applicable charges and taxes.
- A deposit (typically 10–25% of the booking value) is required to secure a reservation
- The remaining balance is due no later than 12 weeks before the cruise departure date
- Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking
6. Cancellations and Amendments
Cancellations by you: Please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges apply in line with the cruise line's policy. A general scale:
- More than 84 days before departure: loss of deposit only
- 57–84 days: 30% of total booking cost
- 29–56 days: 60% of total booking cost
- 15–28 days: 90% of total booking cost
- 14 days or fewer: 100% of total booking cost
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.
Amendments: Requests to amend a booking will be handled on a best-efforts basis. Amendment fees may apply.
7. Cancellations by the Cruise Line
In the unlikely event that a cruise is cancelled by the operator, Ocean Voyage will assist you in obtaining a full refund or alternative booking. We are not liable for losses arising from cancellations by third-party suppliers beyond our control.
8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all passengers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before travelling, covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability, and baggage loss. Ocean Voyage is not responsible for any costs arising from lack of adequate travel insurance.
9. Passports, Visas and Health Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure that you hold valid passports, visas, and any required health documentation for all destinations on your itinerary. Ocean Voyage will provide general guidance, but final responsibility lies with you.
10. Limitation of Liability
Ocean Voyage accepts no liability for acts or omissions of any cruise line or other supplier, events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), or loss, damage, or injury arising from your own actions. Our liability will not exceed the total cost of your booking.
11. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us as soon as possible at info@oceanvoyage.co.uk or 074 78 122 402 so we can attempt to resolve the matter.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect from the date they are published on our website.
